Willie’s Room has moved down the hall. The room, now located in the original area of The Schooler House, overlooks Caroline Street, with a view of the Rising Sun Tavern. The room is named for Williametta Schooler, daughter of Mary Schooler. Willie lived in the house, after the death of her mother, until 1913. The bedroom contains a fireplace with original mantel and surrounded by old ceramic tiles. The fireplace is converted to gas logs for cozy evenings. There are antique pictures and collections contained in this room. The bathroom (en suite) has a large walk-in shower with easy access. The sitting room contains a rocking chair and love seat that gives guests a birds eye view of The Rising Sun Tavern.
Room rate: $150.00 daily, plus city and state tax.
